You will want to know that you will never change your name. Love is a perfect name for a person who is trying to spread love and light in the form of the truth. There have been laws enacted that will deter women from wanting to take their husband’s name in the future. While marriage may or may not be in your future, let it be known that your goal of being called Dr. Love has already been realized.
You have managed to receive an honorary doctorate degree in a manner that will be seen as remarkable. You proved that you had faith and were rewarded accordingly.
You are also going to continue to be addressed as Reverend as you are an ordained minister.
You will want to know that while there are some that are confused as to how you were able to address yourself as both, they are now seeing that this is not only true but that you may have been hiding your light under a bushel for quite some time.
You will want to know that by interpreting the actual Bible verse that this came from will yield different results. You have done this before but did not publish it because it sounded too much like a campaign speech. You do not have any political ambitions and you did not want anyone thinking you were using the Bible in order to create a platform to run on.
You have many platforms you could run on though. Your time in politics and in the non-profit sector made you appear as a threat to some who literally went out of their way to tarnish your reputation.
You will want to know that the people who believed the lies that were told about you didn’t like you in the first place. You were wise not to fight the rumors as people had already made up their mind. People don’t know the position you were put in and how you suffered as a result. These people are only trying to continue this suffering by spreading gossip they heard second-hand.
You will want to know that by sharing this information that you are allowing the world to learn more about a person who is trying to stay anonymous. People will be rewarded for reading your blog with bits and pieces of the truth that are destructive enough to destroy the entire patriarchy. God is not a woman right now but was in the past.
