You will want to know that people actually lived in churches. With that being said, people found ways to entertain them by reading. While religious texts were read during designated times, all other times were filled with books you would not normally correlate to religion. You will want to know that some of these books were very raunchy and caused people to perform acts that would be considered obscene. With that being said, The Star tarot card is of a woman gathering water. She is doing so because she was sent to clean the pews after one of these readings.

*Note: Prophet is an acronym for “People Reading Out Paper Having Extra Text.” Many texts were written on scrolls and were seen as magic as many people at the time did not know how to read.
